Application
» This substance is used in the following products: lubricants and greases, adhesives and sealants, polishes and waxes, cosmetics and personal care products, perfumes and fragrances, and fuels.
» It is used in hydraulic fluids in automotive suspension, lubricants and brake fluids in engine oil, coolants in refrigerators, oil-based electric heaters.
» Release of this substance to the environment may occur from industrial use: formulation of mixtures, processing aids on industrial sites, formulation of materials, manufacture of the substance, manufacture of articles, as an intermediate step in the further manufacture of another substance (use of intermediates), as a processing aid, for thermoplastic production, as processing aids and in closed systems with minimal release substances.
