Trisodium citrate is the trisodium salt of citric acid. It has a role as a sweetening agent and an anticoagulant. It contains a citrate (3-). Sodium salts of citric acid used as buffers and food preservatives.
Application
» This substance is used in the following products: washing and cleaning products, polishes, air care products, water softeners, cosmetics and personal care products, perfumes and fragrances, water treatment chemicals, coating products, inks and toners, textile treatment products and dyes, biocides (e.g. disinfectants, pest control products), fertilizers, adsorbents, fillers, putties, plasters, modeling clay, laboratory chemicals and photo-chemicals.
» Machine wash fluids/detergents, automotive care products, paints and coatings or adhesives, fragrances and air fresheners, flooring, furniture, toys, building materials, curtains, shoes, leather goods, paper and cardboard products, electronic equipment, tires and treated wood used in products.
» Treated textiles and fabrics, brake linings in trucks or cars, sanding of buildings (bridges, facades) or vehicles (ships), separation from fabrics, textiles during washing, removal of interior paints, metal, wood and plastic construction and building materials.
