Sulfamic acid is the simplest of the sulfamic acids, consisting of a single sulfur atom covalently bonded to hydroxy and amino groups by single bonds and to two oxygen atoms by double bonds.
Application

» It is used in offshore mining and health services.
» Release of this substance to the environment may occur from industrial use: in processing aids at industrial sites and substances in closed systems with minimal emissions.
» Used in machine wash fluids/detergents, automotive care products, paints, coatings or adhesives, fragrances, air fresheners, hydraulic fluids in automotive suspension, lubricants in engine oil, brake fluids, coolants in refrigerators, and oil-based electrical heaters.
