Sodium bichromate is an inorganic sodium salt. Contains a dichromate (2-). It appears as a red or red-orange crystalline solid. May be severely irritating to skin, eyes and mucous membranes. It is used as a corrosion inhibitor and in the manufacture of other chemicals.
