Lead nitrate is a white crystalline solid. The material is water soluble. It does not burn, but accelerates the combustion of combustible materials. If large amounts of material are involved in the fire, an explosion may occur.

Application

» Used in coating agents, surface treatment agents, processing aids specific to petroleum production.
» Manuf matches and special explosives are used as mordant in dyeing and printing on textiles, mordant for horn dyeing, mother-of-pearl, oxidizer in paint industry, sensitizer in photography, process engraving
