Jarylec C101 and C101D are 100% synthetic "PCB-free" dielectric fluids. Jarylec chemical composition: Benzyl-toluene 75% ± 5%, Dibenzyl-toluene 25% ± 5%, Tri/tetrabenzyl-toluene < 4% and cycloaliphatic epoxide. Jarylec C101 contains less than 1% cycloaliphatic epoxy compound. Jarylec C101 D is a Jarylec C101 with a very small amount (200 ppm) of ethyl-vanillin added. It further increases the capacitor life and clearly changes and improves the smell of the liquid.
» It is used as dielectric fluid in capacitors.
» It has high voltage resistance, as evidenced by the level of occurrence of high partial discharges.
» There is a strong partial discharge extinction rate as demonstrated in low temperature overvoltage tests.
» It has operation saving (W/ KVAR), gradient and temperature function due to very low loss level.
» Jarylec C101(D) is also used in other electrical equipment such as CVTs, bushing bearings, On-Load Band Changers (OLTC) and embedded capacitors for furnaces.
» Jarylec is a slightly yellow liquid that shows a blue fluorescence when properly illuminated.
